All patients are initially seen for a New Patient Oral Health Assessment to allow us to properly assess your dental health. You will then have the option to register with our practice and pay for your dental treatment in one of two ways:

OPTION 1:  91 DENTAL CARE MEMBERSHIP PLAN

This is our recommended option and is chosen by the vast majority of our patients, as it offers a simple, cost effective way to pay for your dental treatment. Our plan helps spread the cost of regular maintenance and preventative care whilst giving you a 20% discount on the cost of any additional treatment. 

We also know from experience that our membership plan is by far the best way for our patients to maintain a healthy mouth, encouraging regular attendance and maintenance care, keeping future dental problems and associated costs to a minimum. 


ADULT PLAN:

For a monthly payment of just £21-00 you will receive a comprehensive range of benefits including :
  • Guaranteed access to our services
  • 2 dental health examinations a year (incl. oral cancer screening)
  • 2 hygiene appointments a year
  • Free preventative advice
  • Free small digital X-rays
  • Free Antibiotics when dispensed at the practice
  • 20% DISCOUNT on any additional treatment performed at the practice
  • Priority emergency appointments (normal working hours)
  • Free assessment of dental emergencies (normal working hours)
  • Provision of temporary emergency treatment performed at the practice during normal working hours
  • Membership card with 24-hour helpline for dental emergencies when you are way from home in the UK or abroad
  • Eligibility to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme for out of hours emergencies or when you are away​

CHILD PLAN:

For a monthly payment of just £8.95* your child will receive a comprehensive range of benefits, including:
  • 2 Dental Health visits per year, to include as necessary:
    - Tooth examination, gum health screening and soft tissue examination
    - Scale & Polish, dietary, oral hygiene advice & tooth brushing
    ​  techniques
    - Orthodontic assessment
    - All small digital X-rays
    - Fluoride applications as advised
    - Antibiotics when dispensed at the practice
  • Priority emergency appointments (normal working hours)
  • Free assessment of dental emergencies (normal working hours) 
  • Provision of temporary emergency treatment performed at the practice during normal working hours 
  • 20% DISCOUNT on any additional treatment performed at the practice
  • Membership card with 24-hour helpline for dental emergencies  when you are way from home in the UK or abroad ​

OPTION 2:  'PAY-AS-YOU-GO'

Treatment can alternatively be received on a 'pay-as-you-go' basis. Any of the discounts or the additional benefits membership provides would not apply. A minimum attendance for a dental health examination of at least once every twelve months is required to maintain registration with the practice.

Please note:
  • Treatment: All treatment is provided on a 'private' basis including treatments for children
  • Fees: A comprehensive examination is required to properly estimate fees for dental procedures. Fees shown are for guidance only and may vary depending upon the complexity and needs of the individual patient
  • Fee estimates: Estimates are given for each individual course of treatment for your consideration so there are no surprises about the cost of your treatment. Should the agreed plan change due to unforeseen circumstances once treatment has started, we will advise you of any anticipated fee changes as soon as possible.
  • Payment methods: We accept payment by card, cash, cheque and bank transfer.
  • Payment: Payment is due at each appointment or as otherwise agreed or requested. ​A 'pre-payment' may be required to secure your dental appointment, non-refundable unless appointments are cancelled with 2 working days notice (see below). We do not operate an accounts system or offer credit
  • Missed appointments and short notice cancellations: Please provide us with at least 2 working days notice if you need to reschedule your appointment so that we may have the opportunity to offer your appointment slot to another patient in need of treatment and avoid wasting precious surgery time. If this required notice is not given, or if a scheduled appointment is not attended as agreed, then we will consider each individual case on its merits. However, a 'cancellation charge' may be made based on our day-today running costs per surgery for the lost surgery time (this is presently calculated at a cost of £1 per minute of appointment time). Although this charge will not fully cover the cost of the lost treatment time it will allow us to pay our dental care team and to partly cover our overheads which helps to prevent raising our prices unnecessarily. Further appointments cannot be made until this cancellation charge has been paid. Repeated short notice cancellation or repeated failure to attend may result in loss of registration with the practice.
  • Maintenance of registration with our practice: We are a proactive dental practice, and to enable us to provide proper preventive based care we do expect all patients to attend for regular examination appointments (at least once a year), and to attend for scheduled treatment appointments as agreed otherwise this may result in a loss of registration with the practice and inability to access to our dental services.
